Cheap Butler G-U-M Orthodontic Wax - 1 ea Review
A day and a half into new braces wear, the inside of my mouth was unbelievably sore and raw. I picked up two packs of GUM Mint Ortho Wax at the local pharmacy for immediate relief. Each pack contains five strips of mint wax, and each strip is enough for a row of bracket. After brushing and rinsing, I tore little pieces of wax off the strip and molded them around each bracket. For best results, moist fingertips will keep the wax from sticking to your fingers while you put it on. Once applied, I sighed a breath of glorious mouth relief! The wax stayed in place the rest of the evening and overnight. I even drank coffee and ate brunch/lunch with them on and only lost the back two pieces of wax--partly because that's where most of the chewing took place, and partly because those are the smooth, cylindrical shaped brackets, which are harder for the wax to "bond" with. Overall, I'm very pleased and will be buying more soon!
